Faculty Development Programmes (FDP)


IIMPS has taken a major initiative for strengthening the country's intellectual infrastructure for education and training, through the Faculty Development Programmes (FDP). Faculty Development Programmes is one of the key activities of IIMPS. IIMPS has been actively involving in training programmes for the benefit of academic community in the country. The FDP programmes are more focused on academic research and teaching pedagogy.

Objective
The objective of FDP Programme is to provide a framework and necessary data-analytic tools required to process large numeric datasets, inference from which can be used for data-driven decision making. The Programme will focus on examples from various domains. To enhance the knowledge and skills of the teacher in state of Arts, Science and Commerce Domain.
  •  10% weight for topics in higher education such as issues of ethics, gender, marginalized communities, plagiarism etc.
  • 10% weight for issues related to environment. • 10% weight for issues concerning service matters of teachers.
  •  20% for broad cross discipline topics to motivate the trainees for development of interdisciplinary understanding and interest including basic legal awareness.
  • 10% weight for Research Methodology.
  • 15% weight for Communication Skills and Information Technology.
  • 10% weight for Microteaching
  • The remaining 15% of content of the First Level Programme will be focused on broad understanding of various subjects with recent global trends and developments.

Who can Participate: Principals / Heads / Senior Academicians / Administrators from the Colleges / Universities / Organizations are motivated to apply. Out of Delhi participants would be given preference. Apply on the prescribed form only. Participation by final selection and formal invitation only.
